The lineup for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore Season 4 (MPL SG S4) has been finalised following the conclusion of the qualifiers.
SMG SG and Team Oldman topped a pool of 67 teams after a weekend of qualifying matches to join RSG SG, Zion Esports, Revival, Team Flash, EVIL, and Slate Esports to join the Regular Season of the MPL SG S4.
For the second season in a row, SMG SG has come through via qualifiers, which is an impressive demonstration of quality and consistency. Team Oldman is making an appearance in MPL SG for the first time, but it has veterans like OhDeerBambi and Fossa in their ranks, so the team is more than capable of having a say in the competition.
The eight teams in the Regular Season are all assured of a share of the $100,000 prize pool. But there’s all to play for in terms of a bigger share of cash as well as the title, which automatically qualifies the winning team for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship (M4). The M4 will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 1-15 January 2023 and is the most prestigious title on the MPL calendar. Sixteen of the best MLBB teams in the world will compete for the prestigious title as well as the lion’s share of the USD 800,000 prize money. It’s not Dota2 money, but it’s still a lot of money.
The Regular Season will be played in a league format, with best-of-three (Bo3) matches held offline at Zenway Studios starting from 3-25 September 2022. You can catch the action live at Zenway Studios this season but seats are limited. Information on seatings and ticketing details will be released next week. If you miss out, not to worry–Regular Season matches will also be broadcast live on Facebook (MPL SG Official, MLESPORTS), YouTube (MLBB eSports, Mobile Legends 5v5 MOBA), TikTok (MPL SG)and Twitch (MPL SG):
The final standings will determine the draw and seedings for the double-elimination playoffs scheduled for 7-9 October 2022.
