Acer has a new update for SpatialLabs TrueGame, its glasses-free 3D tech for gaming.
Launched last year, the new 3D Ultra mode enhances the stereo rendering capabilities of the application and projects images with “depth and life-like 3D geometry,” offering the “ultimate 3D gaming experience.” The update also includes 3D Sense, a collection of 3D stereo effect configurations that allow players to tailor the viewing experience to their preferences regarding visual details, effects, and 3D depth intensity.
TrueGame is also growing its list of game titles, including the latest AAA titles and classic games. Features like One-click Game Play (automatically launch games with pre-configured profiles) and 3D Ultra profiles expand its range of glasses-free stereoscopic 3D effects while making it easier to launch games with presets. TrueGame can also leverage shader and 3D geometry information to support a second virtual camera, which Acer says offers “a 3D immersion experience unlike any other.”
The 3D Ultra mode in SpatialLabs TrueGame is supported by the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition gaming laptop and the Acer SpatialLabs View display and the software update will go live at the end of January 2023.
