Carro’s Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric vehicle giveaway

It's probably MUCH easier than the Subaru Palm Challenge.

Given the current state of COE prices, maybe the idea of winning a car to defray costs isn’t as crazy as it sounds. Jokes aside, Carro–Southeast Asia’s largest used car marketplace–is giving away a brand-new, made-in-Singapore Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric vehicle through a series of contests.

From 13 March to 29 April, Kiss92 FM radio station will run a series of contests on their regular program and social media to find six contestants who will show down for the grand prize on 29th April at the Carro showroom. And only one winner will walk away with an electric car–well not exactly walk away but I don’t think you’re gonna be driving home immediately without the proper papers too, mate.

The winner will drive home a Hyundai IONIQ 5, a next-generation EV that was triple-crowned in the 2022 World Car Awards as “World Car of the Year,” “World Electric Vehicle of the Year,” and “World Car Design of the Year”. It features Hyundai’s new Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which enables faster charging, increased driving range, more interior space, and better handling. What you will be surprised by, is the fact it’s made in Singapore by the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre, Singapore’s first robotics smart factory.

The winner will also receive comprehensive ownership benefits such as 10 years of EV battery warranty & servicing, a free EV home charger or one year of free charging credits, along with personalised EV analytics and battery management.

The contest is part of their ongoing sustainability effort in educating the public on electric vehicles through collaborations, interviews, and radio spots such as “Fuel Free Friday” on Kiss92 FM. So tune in to The BIG Show with Glenn, Angel, and The Flying Dutchman every morning between 6 AM to 10 AM if you want more details for this unique opportunity.
