Go big or go home, they say. In this case, LG wants you to go big at home.
The LG G2 OLED evo Gallery Edition TV has just launched here in Singapore. Measuring a whopping 97 inches, it’s currently the world’s largest OLED TV. With its sleek, flush-to-the-wall design, the TV elevates any space into a veritable home theatre with top-of-the-line performance.
It’s equipped with LG’s latest OLED evo technology and advanced picture algorithms, offering the promise of lifelike visuals, rich contrast, and vivid colours–the best of LG’s OLED tech (with the price tag, it better be). The TV has 8 million self-lit pixels for deep blacks, a Brightness Booster Max for the brightest OLED performance that money can buy, and 100% colour fidelity and colour volume (certified by Intertek).
The α9 Gen 5 AI processor and deep-learning algorithms provide enhanced 3D picture quality while the Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro feature improves details in HDR content. AI Sound Pro up-mixes 2-channel audio into virtual 7.1.2 surround sound. The TV also supports UHD Alliance’s FILMMAKER MODE, which features Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos enhancements.
The damage? A cool $34,999 if you can stomach it. The 97-inch LG G2 OLED TV is now available at authorized retailers–Audio House, Best Denki, Courts, Gain City, Harvey Norman, Mega Discount Store and Parisilk.
Fortunately, there’s the rest of LG’s new OLED line-up to consider. The new G2 range includes 83-, 77-, 65- and 55-inch options, along with the bendable 42-inch OLED Flex for gaming and smaller spaces. Meanwhile, the C2 series offers a comprehensive range of 42-, 48-, 55-, 65-, 77- and 83-inch models.
