Nothing’s Ear (2) earbuds are now available in black.

To recap, the Ear (2) Black is certified for 24-bit Hi-Res Audio and also supports LDHC 5.0 on top of AAC and trusty ol’ SBC codecs for improved compatibility across devices. Like its predecessor, the Ear (2) features an 11.6mm dynamic driver, this time made from a combination of graphene and polyurethane to achieve deep, powerful bass and crystal-clear highs. The drivers are supported by a dual chamber design that optimises airflow to enhance the overall sound quality.

Other features include Dual Connection that enables “seamless device switching”, Personal Sound Profile for personalised audio settings, and improved windproof and crowd-proof Clear Voice Technology. It also has Personalised Active Noise Cancellation, that Nothing says adapts to the shape of your ear canal.

The Nothing X app has also been updated with new features for both Ear (2) and Ear (stick). Both will have access to an Advanced Equaliser for those who want more control in shaping their sound. It has an 8-band parametric EQ with frequency control, Q factor and real-time preview. You can save these settings as profiles that you can share–and download–via QR codes. Ear (stick) users will also get a dedicated Noise Reduction feature with this new update, which allows users to attenuate ambient noises.

Ear (2) Black will be priced at SGD199|MYR599 and will go on sale on 22 July. But if you can’t wait, you can visit the Nothing Store Soho in London on 13 July or keep a look out for drops on Nothing.tech. But if you are sane (but somewhat desperate to get one quickly), you can try your luck at an exclusive limited drop event on 15 July. it will be held at the Chamber Store in Wisma Atria for Singapore and at Crossover in Mid Valley Megamall in Malaysia.
