Samsung’s new entry Smart Monitor, the M5, is now available for preorder here in Singapore.

Available in 27″ and 32″ sizes and black or white colours, these monitors offer the smart TV experience alongside its primary feature as a monitor for less than $500. That means you get embedded TV apps like Netflix and YouTube, built-in speakers, and a remote control for convenient access to the smart TV features.

At the same time, you can use the monitor as the hub to control connected devices via SmartThings and monitor suspicious activities via Smart Home Monitoring. When users approach the M5, a new My Contents feature activates to display important information and switches off when users leave.

The M5 also supports wireless PC mirroring and mobile connectivity through Samsung DeX, Tap View, or Airplay, while wired connections come in the form of two USB-A connectors and two HDMI ports.

The Smart Monitor M5 (27″ $428, 32″ $488) is available for preorder until April 9, 2023, on Samsung Online Store, Samsung Official Store on Lazada and Shopee, and major consumer electronics and IT retailers. You will also receive a complimentary JBL Quantum 100 Headset (worth $59.90) when you preorder.
