The collaboration with Spatial Labs will bring 3D model viewing to your laptops.

ACER’s SpatialLabs Model Viewer is probably the coolest tech shown at the company’s Global Press Conference.

While it is more of a productivity tool than an entertainment device, the SpatialLabs Model Viewer is a Stereoscopic 3D Display that uses eye-tracking and real-time rendering to generate 3D models on the display of your device – or to be exact, just right in front of it.

The viewer supports all major 3d file formats, including FBX, OBJ, glTF, and SpatialLabs has add ons for popular 3d software, like Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, and 3DS Max, Zbrush, Blender, SketchUp and Rhinoceros.

Maya and Blender users get additional tools that allow them to work on their files in 2D on an external display while viewing the results in 3D on the stereoscopic display.

Unreal Engine developers can sign up to be part of the ConceptD program to get a prototype device and support from the service support team.
