MRT stations are the most unlikely spots to hang out and do a little shopping, but WINKmets Wonderland is a Christmas-themed campaign to remind us that there’s plenty to do at stations–plus it’s another place to explore with the kids now that it’s the holiday season. It is all part of an effort from Stellar Lifestyle, the business arm of SMRT, to reignite the magic of retail around MRT stations–there are, in fact, over 600 retail units across SMRT lines.
Retail clusters located at Dhoby Ghaut, Woodlands, Raffles Place, Bishan, and Paya Lebar MRT stations have been given a makeover to become WINKmets Wonderland Station Lodges for the season ahead.
Running from November 15 to December 24, 2023, shoppers and merrymakers are in for a treat with a range of interactive games at the lodges, where they can win additional prizes, WINKmets gift wrappers, and exclusive WINKmets Plushies.
To participate, shoppers scan a QR code on a promotional wobbler at all Stellar Lifestyle outlets and upload up to three receipts from Stellar Lifestyle retail outlets to receive a redemption coupon. Alternatively, they can present their receipts directly at the WINKmets Wonderland Station Lodges to redeem their rewards.
With a minimum of SGD30 worth of receipts, you will receive exclusive WINKmets gift wrappers. At SGD50, you unlock exclusive excess to the station lodges, where you can take part in interactive games with chances to win vouchers and WINK+ points. With minimum purchases of SGD100, shoppers will receive limited edition WINKmets plushies–collecting all four entitles you to a free train-themed collectors box. In addition, prizes at WINKmets Wonderland at Staytion Lifestyle Centre @ Dhoby Ghaut MRT will include Wasuka CV19 Pro microphones and KTV TeoHeng Vouchers.
The Staytion Lifestyle Centre @ Dhoby Ghaut MRT serves as the central hub for all four WINKmets celebrations. Here, shoppers can participate in a specially designed “Complete The Carol” interactive game to win exclusive prizes sponsored by KTV TeoHeng. The festive atmosphere is further enhanced with community activities such as Christmas carolling, WINKmets Meet & Greet, and a charity market at Bishan MRT.
The station lodges will also host a variety of community activities, including Christmas carolling, WINKmets (mascots) Meet & Greet, and a charity market collaboration with Invade and Metta School, which provides education for students with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) and/or mild Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
