PRISM+ unveils first slim 11.5mm smart synced door and gate locks with facial recognition in Singapore

PRISM+ has just unlocked another level of convenience for door locks. The new Sentinel Door Lock and Sentry Gate Lock aren’t just any smart locks — they’re Singapore’s first smart locks featuring DuoSync technology, which allows you to unlock your door and gate with a single action. And if that’s not enough to impress, the Pro models come equipped with a 3D facial recognition feature, making it as simple as unlocking your iPhone.

The Sentinel and Sentry are also the thinnest smart locks on the market, measuring 11.5mm thick. This slim design is complemented by a sleek, modern aesthetic that doesn’t compromise durability: the housing is CNC-ed from a single block of aerospace-grade aluminium for sturdiness. It’s been lab-tested to meet military-grade reliability standards and fire-rated according to Singapore Civil Defence Force standards (SS:332, if you’re interested), making them ready for anything life throws at them.

The Sentinel and Sentry smart locks are ultimately designed for convenience. The Standard models offer multiple access methods — fingerprint, keypad, card, or smartphone app — while the Pro versions add a camera for 3D facial recognition. DuoSync, which allows for the simultaneous unlocking of doors and gates, is the first to be available in the Singapore market.

Battery life won’t be a concern either. The replaceable and rechargeable batteries in the Sentinel locks last up to 12 months for the Standard models and up to 9 months for the Pro models. The locks work with the PRISM+ Connect app, which lets you manage everything from unlocking your door to viewing and saving visitor recordings.

As always, while these locks are quite competitively priced, the real bargains are always in their launch promotions. Every purchase of the Sentinel or Sentry lock comes with a free Wi-Fi Gateway and a smart Letterbox Lock. Opt for a bundle, and you’ll get a Video Doorbell thrown in as well.

Availability

The PRISM+ Sentinel and Sentry smart locks will be available in three colours (space grey, copper rose and nickel silver) for pre-order from 29 August 2024 through all official PRISM+ channels.
