Battle Royale fans take note, PUBG: NEW STATE is now available to play on Android and iOS.

The follow-up to the now-classic PUBG Mobile (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), NEW STATE (NS) is set in the year 2051, but players will find themselves at home on familiar ground as they are visually quite similar. The updated version features reworked graphics and NS uses the futuristic context to introduce a couple of new features to freshen up the format.

This includes weapon customisation, a drone store and a unique player recruitment system. Currently, there are three gameplay modes: the classic Battle Royale, which includes the now-classic Erangel map as well as a futuristic Troi, a 4v4 Deathmatch mode as well as a Training Ground area for those who take their PUBG very seriously.

The new game now offers monthly Survivor Passes, which allows players the opportunity to unlock a variety of in-game rewards. Ranked Seasons (which runs two months at a time) will add another level of competitiveness as you can compete with other players to finish in the highest tiers possible for the best in-game rewards.

To celebrate the launch, developers KRAFTON will be hosting a “Play With Friends” campaign. If you log in every day from November 15 till November 21 and participate in the “Play With Friends” event, you will have a chance to win the #NewStateStyle in-game emote and a Chicken Medal, which players can use to exchange items from the in-game store.
