ACER’s Swift X aren’t the lightest laptops, but they are lightweight for their performance class.
The new Swift X (SFX14-41G) features AMD Ryzen 5000 processors (up to 5800U) and also the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU, a graphics solution touted to offer the best of both worlds.

Acer rates the fast-charging battery for up to 17 hours of use, making it a viable portable workhorse. It’s also configurable for up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD storage.
The 14″ display is a little more modest, with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB coverage. But it does come with Acer’s BlueLightShield tech to lessen eye strain.

In keeping with the slim workhorse mantra, the Swift X features full function USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 6, AI-enhanced noise suppression for the built-in microphone and a fingerprint sensor for secure login. All this in a package that weighs 1.39kg and measures no more than 17.9mm in thickness.
Price and availability have yet to be determined.
