Huawei has updated its MateBook X Pro for 2021 to feature the latest Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor and Iris Xe graphics. Paired with the new processor is a new smart heat dissipation system featuring the company’s Sharkfin dual fan design, which now has a higher density of thinner S-shaped blades.
The series was designed with portability in mind and the laptop measures only 14.6mm thick and weighs 1.33 kg. It gets a 56Wh battery and a 65W USB-C charger, which can also be used to supercharge HUAWEI mobile devices.
Designed with smartphone user in mind, HUAWEI has adopted a 3:2 ratio for its 3K resolution LTPS multitouch display, while the Free Touch touchpad has been updated for smoother feedback with every press and movement. It also supports Huawei Share, which lets you access your HUAWEI phone and its apps easily.
There’s only one variant available, but HUAWEI has kept it adequately equipped with two fully-featured USB-C ports, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage and Wi-Fi 6 support.
The new HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2021 is available in Space Grey and a new Emerald Green variant and retails for S$2,598 at Huawei Experience Stores, Huawei Official Store in Lazada and Shopee, or Best Denki, Challenger & Hachi.tech, Courts, and Gain City.
It includes a gift bundle (worth $663) that includes a HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Elite Edition, Bluetooth mouse, backpack and 1-year extended warranty, while stocks last.
