Sennheiser's new bang-for-buck true wireless looks good on paper.

The premise for the new Sennheiser CX True Wireless is to deliver quality audio and long battery life for a reasonable price. And on paper at least, it looks like it has everything you would want in a pair of true wireless headphones.

The new offering from Sennheiser features their proprietary TrueResponse transducer, which can be found on their in-ear monitors. They are designed in made in-house at Sennheiser in Germany, and with their Smart Control App and built-in EQ, you can customise the headphones’ output according to what you are listening to.

With Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility and support for SBC, AAC and aptX audio codecs, it can pretty much connect to any audio playback device. It also features dual microphones for better voice pick-up, the ability to use either earbud on its own, and Sidetone to hear your own voice (adjustable) during calls. It also features a touch interface and the controls are customisable after a firmware update.

Battery life is rated for up to 9 hours and up to 27 hours when you factor in the battery case. The units are also splash-resistant with an IPX4- rating.

The CX Wireless will launch on 8 July, but you can pre-order before 6th July and receive your pair on 8 July exclusively via Amazon.sg .
