LG has introduced its new and improved LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier in Singapore. First launched last year, the latest upgrade features an improvement in all-around performance as well as new features.
The new PuriCare Wearable also sports a new design and comes in two colours, creamy white and ocean black, as well as in medium and large sizes to accommodate more users. At the same time, weight has been reduced to 94 grams (from 104 grams), so it’s more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time.

At its heart are two H13 HEPA filters, giving it the same capabilities as homebound air purifiers. The mask also uses an automatic fan airflow control system consisting of two fans powered by an ultra-small and lightweight motor. The system adjusts airflow according to your breathing pattern to keep the air as clean as possible and help the wearer breathe easier (10-55 litres per minute). It also prevents your glasses from fogging up when wearing a mask too.
The other hassle that comes with wearing masks is that often, it’s hard to make out what people are saying. For this, the PuriCare Wearable is equipped with a microphone and built-in speaker. LG calls this VoiceON, and what it does is to amplify your voice when it recognises that you are talking.

LG has also upgraded the battery capacity to 1,000mAh, enabling up to eight hours of operation on a single charge. And it only takes up to two hours for a full recharge.
Priced at $249, the new PuriCare Wearable is now available through official LG Lazada , LG Shopee , LG KrisShop and across all authorised retailers – Best Denki and COURTS. And in October, LG will release a companion app that lets you manage the PuriCare Wearable directly. It will also allow you to track your breathing.
