TPG drops a $18 SIM-only plan for data junkies

Do you need 80GB of data a month? No. $18? Yes.

It’s a good time to be shopping for new data plans, and TPG has just thrown in another viable option with its $18 for 80GB SIM-only plan.

For $18, you get 80GB of data at 4G speeds, 500 minutes of local outgoing calls and 300 minutes of international direct dialling (IDD) calls to 21 countries. That’s some deal. I’m sure that anyone can use up 80GB of data fairly quickly with meaningful effort, but I’d wager that it’s more than enough data for anyone (normal). Jokes aside, TPG’s offering is no doubt the cheapest if data is the priority. The additional perks in the form of free minutes of IDD and data for roaming (maybe not for most people right now) are very attractive.

You can sign up for the $18 for 80GB SIM-only plan at these TPG outlets and at tpgmobile.sg . Alternatively, you can take up the offer through the TPG SG app from February 2021 onwards and have them deliver the SIM to you at no additional cost.
