Singtel has rolled out two new offerings this month: one’s a SIM-only plan for seniors aged 60 and above; the other is Sweetch, a new household bundle that combines broadband and mobile with promotional pricing aimed at encouraging households to switch and bundle both services with Singtel.
Here’s what you need to know about each.
The Seniors plan: SGD 6 a month, no tricks
The Singtel Seniors SIM Only Plan is exactly what it sounds like — a 5G+ SIM plan at SGD 6/month, available exclusively to Singaporeans aged 60 and above.
You’ll need a PAssion Silver Concession Card to sign up, but beyond that, the terms are clean: 340GB local data (including 300GB promotional bonus data), unlimited local calls (subject to a fair use cap of 10,000 minutes or ~167 hours, which is honestly way more than enough), 500 SMS, 6GB of Malaysia roaming data monthly, and Caller ID for the first 24 months. It’s a 12-month contract, and registration and SIM card fees are waived.
For parents or grandparents still on ageing plans — the kind where, back in the day, 3GB felt generous, and roaming meant a nervous glance at the bill — this is a meaningful upgrade for the price of a Happy Meal.
Sweetch: Singtel’s new broadband-and-mobile bundle
Sweetch is Singtel’s new converged bundle — broadband plus 5G+ mobile — with promotional pricing that Singtel says can save households over SGD 1,000 across 24 months compared with signing up for both services separately.
Bundle 5 (SGD 60/month, U.P. SGD 120.88/month) includes 5Gbps fibre broadband, an Enhanced 5G+ Unlimited mobile plan, a free WiFi 7 router, 12 months Broadband Protect, and a CAST.SG Entertainment Pack.
Bundle 10 (SGD 80/month, U.P. SGD 154.88/month) steps it up to 10Gbps broadband and a Priority 5G+ Unlimited mobile plan, which adds 4x priority network speed, unlimited Malaysia roaming, 13GB Asia roaming, 1,000 minutes talktime, 1,000 SMS, and even an additional mobile line that shares your plan’s data and talktime.
Both run on 24-month contracts (mobile and broadband) and are available to new Singtel households signing up for both services together. Registration fees are waived, professional broadband installation is included at no cost, and you can activate mobile first and schedule installation for a later date if timing doesn’t work out.
And if you’re heading to IT Show 2026 (12–15 March) at Suntec, there’s a show-exclusive cherry on top — “sweetch” service providers at the event, and you’ll walk away with an additional SGD 250 in shopping vouchers. That’s on top of the SGD 1,000-plus in savings already baked into the bundle. Puns fully intended.
