The week-long March school holidays in Singapore started on March 9, 2024, and will continue until March 17, 2024. Though this post may be a few days late, we’re excited to announce that Timezone, Singapore’s go-to family entertainment centre, is gearing up for a Month of Happiness as we approach International Happiness Day on March 20, 2024.

Throughout March, Timezone will spread happiness across various locations, with mini carnivals popping up at key spots around the city.

From March 10 to 17th, Timezone Singapore is doubling the joy with a week of Double Dollar Deals. That means double credits to enhance your school holiday experience. Whether you prefer to reload at the venues or via the Fun app, skip the queues and dive straight into the fun!

Typically, we see parents passing game cards to their children and letting them play on their own. However, there are family-friendly games that parents can also enjoy with their children. Why not turn it into a friendly family competition based on points for each game won, with the winner getting to choose a dessert as their reward?

The media launch of Timezone’s Month of Happiness campaign at their Orchard Xchange outlet – the biggest in Singapore – included a series of selected games in which media, in different groups, competed with each other. These games could be used as suggested activities for the family fun competition.

Game 1: Skee Ball

Skeeball Your Way To Higher Points

Skee Ball is like miniature bowling, but instead of knocking down pins, you try to roll the ball into slots that give you points. Slots with the highest points are often smaller, so a combination of skill and luck is needed for this game. Skee Ball is a great alternative for younger ones who are too small for bowling, while older ones could use it as a bowling warm-up.

Game 2: Connect4 Hooks

Shoot to Connect4!

Connect4 is a classic game in which the winner is the first to arrange the same-coloured discs in a row of 4, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Timezone’s Connect4 Hooks adds an element of basketball shooting skills to arrange the discs for the winning combination. This game combines skills, strategy, and luck, getting family teams communicating and cheering for hitting the right hole.

Game 4: Racing Games

Racing games are more for adults, so this is the perfect opportunity to pit parents against parents to see who is the best driver on the virtual track.

Game 5: VR Games

Timezone at Orchard Xchange is big enough to have a VR station with a variety of games to choose from. The media played a Pirate shooting game to outshoot each other on a pirate ship.

Game 6: Hungry Hungry Hippos

Hungry Hungry Hippos, the human-size edition, is a fun way for the family to pit against each other. Don’t be surprised if the younger ones beat the older ones at this, as you need a lot of energy and excitement to win this. The little girl in the photo beat all the other three adult players in the room.

In addition, Timezone will be introducing the Happiness Tile Game. This interactive in-app adventure lets guests explore and win rewards. Simply reload a minimum of $38 at three venues between March 4th and 31st to play and win plushies!

For those who love sharing their happiest moments, Timezone invites you to join their Social Media Contest. Share your Timezone memories on social media, tag @timezonesingapore, and use the hashtag #TimezoneMonthofHappiness for a chance to win a party package!
