Viu’s first Singapore-made microdrama, Seven Days Reborn, premieres exclusively on Viu on 25 June 2026 across the service’s markets in Asia, the Middle East and South Africa.
Produced by King Kong Media Productions and directed by Jaex Chan, Seven Days Reborn was filmed in Singapore on a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The story follows Kai Qian (Tasha Low), an investigative reporter killed after uncovering crimes tied to Cao Junye (Mark Lee), the head of South Korea’s K Media Group. She is sent back to the beginning of the seven-day chain of events and joins Interpol agent Han Dao Xun, played by South Korean actor Kang Yul, in an attempt to expose Cao before history repeats itself.
Seven Days Reborn runs for 25 episodes, with access divided between ad-supported viewing and Viu Premium. It can be found in Viu Shorts, the mobile-app section built around vertical micro-dramas.
