Amazon Singapore will be kicking off its annual Prime Day festivities with a Prime Day Carnival, which will be held on 8-9 July. The Carnival will be held at Capitol Singapore. It precedes the annual Prime Day sales event, which will be held on 11-12 July this year.

The Carnival features a variety of booths with games for children and adults alike, including Twister Air (it is what it sounds like),  Knock ’em with Deals (can toss game), Wild Wild Deals (shooting gallery with a Nerf blaster). There are prizes to be won, including a brand-new Nerf blaster. This year, they have a proper Carousel ride for your child and ‘child at heart’ alike.

Amazon is also working with Hasbro this year to launch Hasbro’s latest toys and games from Nerf, Transformers, Play-Doh, Twister, and Monopoly. Prime members will be the first in Singapore to be able to buy the latest releases from 7 July onwards.

Prime Day will take place from 11-12 July, but you can now preview select products and their sale prices. Like previous Prime Day sales, the deals run the whole gamut of categories ranging from toys to beauty and kitchen products.

Additional perks include SGD5 off SGD25 for new Amazon.sg customers, Amazon Vouchers for savings on various products, Amazon.sg Gift Cards for gifting, and promotions for specific bank cardholders. You can even get a further 2% off if you use PayNow, or use Atome as a buy-now-pay-later option, which was just introduced recently.  You need to show your Prime account to enter and you can sign up for a free one-month trial if you don’t have one.

And if you’re sick of the non-stop monthly sales pitches, Prime Day reminds you that they provide a convenient way for you to support local non-profit organizations (NPOs). You can contribute by purchasing items from their Amazon wishlists during Prime Day for the underprivileged.
