Sharp has launched two new Pro-Flex front-load washer-dryer combos in Singapore, combining washing, drying and waterless garment refreshing within a shallower design.
The ES-FW10D7PAS offers a 10.5kg washing capacity and 7kg drying capacity, while the larger ES-FW12D8PAS handles 12.5kg washing and 8kg drying. Both are 598mm wide and 850mm tall, with depths of 600mm and 640mm respectively.
For comparison, Sharp’s earlier ES-FW105D7PS was advertised on its official Singapore site as a 10.5kg/7kg washer-dryer but measured 680mm deep. The new equivalent-capacity model measures 600mm.
Dry Airwash uses Sharp’s Plasmacluster Ion technology to refresh lightly worn garments without water. Users can choose five-, 10- or 30-minute cycles for items such as suits, structured outerwear, delicate accessories and fabrics that may not take kindly to frequent conventional washing.
Sharp says Plasmacluster ions help reduce bacteria and neutralise odours. The technology is also used between cycles to reduce residual moisture, odours and bacteria inside the drum.
Both models include 15 programmes, Steam Care Hygiene mode, a direct-drive inverter motor, Child Lock, Auto Restart and a four-tick WELS rating. Sharp claims the steam programme can eliminate up to 99.9% of allergens and germs.
Drying capacity is lower than washing capacity on both models, so their largest wash loads cannot move directly into a single full drying cycle.
The ES-FW10D7PAS carries an RRP of SGD 1,488, while the ES-FW12D8PAS is priced at SGD 1,861. At the time of writing, Sharp’s Singapore online store lists promotional prices of SGD 1,399 and SGD 1,749 respectively, though these may change.
Both models are available through Sharp Singapore’s online store, its official Lazada and Shopee channels, selected major electronics retailers and authorised dealers.
