Timezone makes a new home at Orchard Xchange

With a convenient location and wide variety of attractions, will this be a new hotspot for families on the weekend?

If you’ve thought that there’s little reason to visit a place like Orchard Xchange, its newest tenant might change your mind–or at the very least, provide a few weekends of entertainment for the young ones.

Timezone has just filled the sprawling 22,000-square-foot location (Basement 1, above Orchard MRT station), with the latest and greatest games and attractions, such as bumper cars, social bowling, and virtual reality (VR) stations.

Created in partnership with Stellar Lifestyle, Timezone says it’s a first-of-its-kind concept within the SMRT network and visitors to Timezone Orchard Xchange can expect a unique experience that aims to blend cutting-edge technology, fun, and family bonding.

The venue features a high-technology thematic zone with eight lanes of bowling, including four social bowling lanes and four mini-bowling lanes for families and kids. These lanes feature interactive animations projected onto them to create a unique visual bowling experience.

Timezone Orchard Xchange also boasts over 160 arcade games from the likes LAI, Bandai Namco and SEGA, bumper cars, and two fully-equipped party rooms for private parties, events, and celebrations. A dedicated party host will be assigned for each booking, and you can decide on your own catering services.

Timezone’s Fun Package is priced at $55 per child and comes with 45 minutes of party area usage and 90 minutes of Timezone Play. The package also provides each child with 500 tickets, and a special 2,500 ticket for the birthday child, which can be redeemed for prizes.
