Samsung’s latest 2026 line-up covers developments in AI TVs, Micro RGB, OLED, Mini LED, lifestyle displays, Music Studio speakers, Q-Series soundbars, Odyssey gaming monitors and ViewFinity productivity displays.

That is a lot of product names to throw at one living room, desk or spare corner. So rather than treat every acronym like a major event, here are the 11 updates worth knowing.

1. Vision AI Companion: Samsung’s big software push

Samsung’s main TV software development this year is Vision AI Companion, which brings together Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot as part of its AI TV experience.

Samsung positions it as an entertainment companion that can help users decide what to watch, what to eat and what to listen to. What it comes down to is making it more intuitive to do contextual searches; for example, trying to remember if a certain actor onscreen had headlined another movie that you thought they’d been in.

The AI features also extend into viewing modes, including AI Upscaling Pro for lower-resolution content, Colour Booster Pro for scene-by-scene colour adjustment, AI Football Mode Pro for football motion and stadium audio, and AI Sound Controller Pro for tweaking elements such as commentary and crowd noise.

2. Micro RGB is the latest premium display tech addition

The high-end TV feature story is Micro RGB, available through the R95H and R85H models. Samsung says Micro RGB uses individually controlled red, green and blue micro LEDs, with screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to 115 inches.

The 85″ R95H (SGD 12,999) also supports 100% coverage of BT.2020, a colour standard used to describe how wide a range of colours a display can reproduce. The useful way to read this is not “better than OLED”, but that Samsung is positioning Micro RGB as its high-end answer for viewers who want intense colour, high brightness and large-screen impact in the same package.

In short, Micro RGB is the colour-and-brightness option, OLED remains the go-to for contrast and deep blacks, Mini LED covers the big-screen stretch, and The Frame Pro is the design-led choice.

3. OLED new improvements on the gaming and sports front

Samsung’s 2026 OLED range covers the S95H, S90H and S85H, with the S95H launching towards the end of 2026 in Singapore. Prices start from the 48-inch S85H at SGD 2,099 to the 83-inch S90H at SGD 9,999, with the 65-inch S90H at SGD 3,999 as a middle-of-the-road reference point.

The pitch is familiar: deep blacks, strong contrast, fast response and features aimed at gaming and sports. Samsung says its 2026 OLED TVs include an Ultimate Gaming Pack, which combines Motion Xcelerator 165Hz for smoother fast action, support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible variable refresh-rate platforms, and quick-access gaming tools.

For sports, the S95H and S90H get AI Football Mode Pro, which adjusts picture and sound for smoother ball movement and more stadium-like audio, while the S85H gets the regular AI Football Mode.

4. For big screens, Mini LED is the way to go

While Micro RGB takes centre stage for backlighting advances, the ‘practical’ big-screen hook lies in Samsung’s Mini LED range.

The 2026 Mini LED line-up includes the M90H, M75H and M1EH models, with sizes ranging from 43 inches to a 100-inch M90H model, which is listed at SGD 4,599 in Singapore. While the likes of TCL, Hisense, LG and others offer cheaper models, Samsung’s case is that the premium goes into Mini LED backlighting, more precise light control, AI picture optimisation and motion handling — the stuff that matters more when a screen is large enough to make flaws more obvious.

5. The Frame Pro: the clean-living-room pitch

Samsung’s lifestyle-centric, art frame TV story continues with The Frame Pro (model LS03HW), which adds Neo QLED picture quality, Pantone Validated ArtfulColor, Glare Free technology, a 24.9mm design depth and Wireless One Connect — this external box handles inputs and need not be linked to the screen via a cable. This enables more flexibility for wall mountings.

The Frame line-up now also stretches to 98 inches (The Frame LS03HE), literally providing a larger canvas for your virtual art. However, this is not available for the Pro, which tops out at 85 inches (LS03HW).

6. AI Sound Controller Pro is a sleeper feature

One of the low-key interesting AI features in Samsung’s 2026 TV line-up has nothing to do with picture quality at all.

AI Sound Controller Pro lets viewers adjust parts of the sound mix — such as dialogue, background music, sound effects, commentary, and crowd noise — rather than just raising or lowering the overall volume, giving them more control over what they want to hear more or less of.

You could make commentary clearer during a match, reduce background layers when dialogue gets buried, or bring back more crowd noise when you actually want a more raucous stadium feel.

7. The Movingstyle is the flexible-screen wildcard

Samsung’s attempt at a hybrid tablet display, the SGD 1,699 Movingstyle (LSM7F), is a 27-inch display-and-movable-stand combo designed for flexible placement around the home. It’s removable from the stand as well, with up to three hours of battery life, which makes it viable for bedroom streaming, viewing recipes in the kitchen, workout videos on the patio, casual gaming or anywhere a tablet feels too small, and a TV is not viable.

8. New line of design-led Music Studio speakers

The Music Studio 7 joins the recently launched Music Studio 5, with both designed by Erwan Bouroullec — think modern-day Philippe Starck but low-key.

Music Studio 7 (SGD 699) offers a 3.1.1-channel setup, Hi-Resolution Audio and Dolby Atmos, while Samsung also highlights features such as Spotify Tap and Group Play, which supports up to 10 speakers.

9. Better screen integration on the new Q-Series soundbars

The Q-Series soundbar range includes the HW-Q990H, HW-Q930H, HW-QS90H, HW-Q800H and HW-Q600H. The flagship HW-Q990H (SGD 1,899) offers 11.1.4-channel sound, while the HW-QS90H is Samsung’s first all-in-one soundbar, with 7.1.2-channel audio, four built-in woofers and a gyro sensor that optimises sound based on how the soundbar is positioned.

In terms of new features, Sound Elevation directs sound towards the TV screen, so dialogue feels as if it is coming from where the characters are positioned, rather than from below the TV. Samsung is also expanding Q-Symphony, allowing a compatible Samsung TV to connect with up to five compatible sound devices.

10. Odyssey monitors — choose speed or detail

Samsung also updated its gaming Odyssey lineup. The Odyssey OLED G8 G80SH comes in 27-inch (SGD 2,288) and 32-inch (SGD 2,488) sizes with 4K QD-OLED, a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG response time. It also features a heat pipe that dissipates heat five times faster than typical graphite sheets, reducing the risk of burn-in.

The 32″ Odyssey OLED G7 G73SH (SGD 1,688) adds Dual Mode, letting users switch between 4K UHD at 165Hz and Full HD at 330Hz. The Odyssey G8 G80HF (SGD 1,888) takes a different route with a 27-inch 5K Fast IPS panel that can run at 5K at up to 180Hz or QHD at up to 360Hz.

11. ViewFinity leans into productivity and connectivity

The new ViewFinity S8 models focus on productivity. The ViewFinity S8 S85TH (SGD 2,588) is a 40-inch curved WUHD display with Thunderbolt 5, up to 80 Gbps data transfer, up to 140W Power Delivery, and Daisy Chain support for multi-monitor setups.

The ViewFinity S8 S80HF (SGD 1,288) is a 27-inch 5K display with USB-C connectivity, up to 90W power delivery and a built-in LAN port.

Both models also support productivity features such as Picture-in-Picture, Picture-by-Picture, Samsung Display Manager and a built-in KVM switch, which lets two connected sources share a single keyboard and mouse.
