Blizzard has previewed Curse of Ula’tek, the first major content update for World of Warcraft: Midnight.

Patch 12.1 takes players to the Coiled Isle, off the coast of Zul’Aman. Its centrepiece is the Venomous Abyss, an eight-boss raid arriving with Midnight Season 2 and culminating in a fight against Ula’tek.

The update also adds the three-boss Altar of Fangs dungeon and three new Delves, including a Nemesis Delve. The Season 2 Mythic+ pool will combine new and returning dungeons. Blizzard has not announced a release date.

Meanwhile, Revelations Patch 12.0.7 is now live. Its main addition is Sporefall, a single-boss raid against the fungal giant Rotmire. Mythic difficulty supports groups of 15 to 25 players instead of the usual fixed group of 20.

Revelations also adds rotating activities in Naigtal and Val, the rune-based Omnium Folio progression system and a new Loa chapter of Lorewalking. Turbulent Timeways will return later with Dragonflight dungeons and the Spawn of Vyranoth mount among its rewards.
