The Unlimited 10’s showpiece is its MicroClean Technology, a system that can detect particles as small as 0.3 microns and feeds that data to a glowing MicroClean Ring indicator, which changes colour states according to the levels of dust on the spot being vacuumed. When the ring lights up fully in blue, it means you’ve picked up every detectable speck in that area.
In practice, this is deceptively brilliant. While it is not the only vacuum to do this, Dyson’s approach, although more technical in providing information, is less intuitive; Bosch’s method is faster to interpret, has no learning curve, and sidesteps the information overload.
The vacuum also works in both forward and reverse strokes, picking up coarse debris more effectively, especially on hard floors. And for anyone dealing with long hair (whether human or pet), the brush roll has been reengineered to reduce tangles by a factor of three compared to Bosch’s previous model.
Real usability, not just features
Another standout is the TFT display, which is more than just a glorified battery meter. As the control hub, it allows you to toggle between power modes (Eco, Auto, Turbo), access special cleaning modes such as Quiet or Fine Carpet, and display visual help guides on filter cleaning or dust box maintenance. Additionally, it provides links via QR codes to more detailed instructions.
Combined with the articulating tube and self-standing design, you don’t have to crouch, bend, or fiddle — the vacuum easily conforms to reach tight spots underneath furniture, and stows away elegantly. Even emptying the dustbin is cleaner thanks to built-in compression — it reduces how often you empty, and keeps the dust cloud to a minimum when you do.
It’s also equipped with a HEPA-grade filter system, which removes 99.99% of dust particles and allergens from the exhaust air — a handy feature for households with allergy concerns.
