Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition: the money-is-no-object mouse

Razer's latest is ridiculously lightweight and will do the same to your wallet.

How much are you willing to pay for a mouse with all the bells and whistles?

For those who have already invested in a pricey keyboard and find that your mouse looks too modest in comparison (and you missed the Finalmouse hype train), Razer’s Viper Mini Signature Edition might add that gloss your tabletop sorely needs.

Razer calls it a result of years of meticulous craftsmanship and engineering and offers best-in-class performance in every department. It all starts from the injection-moulded magnesium alloy exoskeleton housing, which helps the mouse tip the scales at an incredulous 49 grams. And yet, it maintains structural integrity thanks to the material’s exceptional weight-to-strength ratio.

Take a peek under the hood and what you’ll see is the best that Razer has to offer. The new Viper gets the Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor (750 IPS, 70 G acceleration, and up to 99.8% resolution accuracy), Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3 (rated for 90 million clicks), and HyperPolling Wireless with a 4000 Hz wireless polling rate.

The battery also fully charges in under 90 minutes at 2C charging rate, which Razer says is four times the peak charging capacity of most other wireless mice, and provides up to 60 hours of use with HyperSpeed wireless.

All of this goodness comes at a price of course–USD 280, which is nothing if you’ve descended into custom keyboard debauchery, but this is quite a leap over the likes of the Mad Catz R.A.T. Pro X3 Supreme at USD 230. It will be available exclusively on Razer.com – and the first batch is set to drop at 8 PM PST  on February 11, 2023 (12pm SGT, February 12, 2023).
